Frequently Asked Questions About Hypnosis

Your questions answered about how hypnosis works, what to expect, and how it can support your healing journey.

  • Hypnosis is a natural state of mind where you slip into deeper alpha and theta brain waves. When you’re in a deeper brain wave state you’re more responsive to working through blocks.

During a hypnotic session, you’ll feel a sense of deep relaxation but your mind will be fully present and alert through the entire session. In fact, you slip in and out of hypnosis every day when you’re daydreaming, waking up from a deep sleep, or even driving in your car.

  • Hypnotherapy focuses on healing the mind by understanding your underlying beliefs, emotions, and the true core of the problem. Once we discover these things about ourselves then change can truly occur.

Frequently Asked Questions About Past Life regression QHHT®?

Your questions answered about how Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique works, what to expect in a session, and how it can support your healing journey.

  • During a QHHT session, the practitioner guides the client into a deep state of relaxation through hypnosis. Once in this altered state of consciousness, the client's subconscious mind is accessed, allowing them to explore past lives, access higher wisdom, and receive healing energy. The practitioner acts as a facilitator, guiding the client through the experience and asking questions to uncover insights and address the client's concerns.

  • While traditional hypnosis often focuses on behavior modification or symptom relief, QHHT delves deeper into the subconscious mind to explore past lives, connect with higher wisdom, and facilitate profound healing. Unlike other forms of therapy, QHHT aims to address issues at their root causes rather than merely managing symptoms.

  • Yes, QHHT is generally considered safe when practiced by a trained and experienced practitioner. The process involves inducing a relaxed state of hypnosis, which is a natural and safe state of consciousness

  • The number of QHHT sessions needed varies depending on the individual and the nature of their concerns. Some people may experience significant shifts and healing after just one session, while others may benefit from multiple sessions to address deeper issues or achieve specific goals. The practitioner and client can discuss their progress and decide together on the most appropriate course of action.

  • Generally, anyone can undergo QHHT as long as they are open to the process and willing to engage with it. There are no specific prerequisites in terms of age, background, or belief system. However, it's essential to approach QHHT with an open mind and a willingness to explore your inner world.

Frequently Asked Questions About HeartMath®?

Your questions answered about how HeartMath® works, what to expect in your sessions, and how it can help you manage stress, improve resilience, and create balance.

  • HeartMath® is a science-based system that teaches you how to regulate your emotions, reduce stress, and build resilience by creating heart-brain coherence. It combines simple techniques with real-time biofeedback to help you feel more calm, focused, and connected.

  • Each session begins with a personal assessment to understand how stress shows up in your system. From there, you'll be guided through coherence techniques designed to help you shift into a balanced state. You’ll leave with tools you can use anytime to feel more emotionally steady and mentally clear.

  • Not at all. While HeartMath does offer optional sensor tools, you don’t need them for our sessions. Everything we do can be practiced without any tech, although I’ll show you how biofeedback works if you’re curious about the technology.

  • While both are helpful, HeartMath is more focused on emotional regulation and real-time stress reduction. It’s an active practice you can use with your eyes open, in the middle of your day, whenever you feel overwhelmed or disconnected, or just want to relax.

  • HeartMath is for anyone who feels stuck in stress, burnout, or emotional overwhelm. It’s especially helpful if you're navigating big transitions, working in high-pressure environments, or simply want to feel more in control of your inner state at any moment.

  • That depends on your goals. Some people feel a shift in just one session, while others choose a series to build long-term emotional resilience. We’ll personalize your journey together.

Frequently Asked Questions About Self-Hypnosis MP3s?

Your questions answered about how self-hypnosis audios work, what to expect, and how they can support lasting healing and personal growth.

  • Self-hypnosis is an effective tool that can help you achieve your goals and improve your overall well-being. It works by putting you in a state of deep relaxation where your subconscious mind becomes more open to suggestions and positive affirmations. With regular practice, self-hypnosis can help you overcome limiting beliefs, decrease stress levels, and increase confidence.

Shannon recommends that you listen to it every day 21-30 days in a row for maximum benefit. The best time to listen to it is in the morning, after lunch, or as you go to sleep at night.

*It is important to note that Hypnosis is not a replacement for regular therapy with a Mental Health Provider. You can look at this as a great supplement for the work you’re already doing. If you need additional assistance, you can reach out to us at Shannon Rollins Hypnosis or a Licensed Mental Health Provider.

  • Hypnosis is powerful way to overcome blocks, release negative emotions, and achieve goals. Hypnosis works by inducing a trance-like state in which the person is more open to suggestion and has heightened focus and concentration. This state is achieved through relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing or progressive muscle relaxation, and guided imagery or suggestions from a trained hypnotherapist.

Once the person is in this relaxed state, the hypnotherapist can use suggestions to help them achieve their goals. These suggestions may involve visualizations or affirmations that are designed to help the person overcome negative thoughts or behaviors.

Hypnosis doesn’t work by controlling the person's mind or making them act against their will. The person remains fully aware of their surroundings and can choose whether or not to accept the suggestions given by the hypnotherapist.

  • While self hypnosis audios can be helpful for some people, they cannot fully replace a one-on-one hypnotherapy session with a trained professional. This is because a trained hypnotherapist can tailor the session to the individual's specific needs and goals, and provide personalized guidance throughout the process

These audios can create a significant difference in one’s life, and is a great first step to training the mind how to be in a relaxed trance.

  • Hypnosis and meditation are both wonderful practices that involve altered states of consciousness, but they are different in their purpose and technique.

Hypnosis is a therapeutic technique that aims to access the subconscious mind to promote positive changes. It is typically done with the guidance of a trained hypnotherapist who uses suggestions or guided imagery to induce a trance-like state. In this state, the person may be more open to accepting new ideas or breaking old habits.

Meditation, on the other hand, is a practice that involves focusing one's attention on a particular object, thought or activity to achieve mental clarity and relaxation. It can be done in various forms such as mindfulness meditation or Transcendental Meditation. The goal of meditation is usually to achieve inner peace, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve overall well-being.

While both hypnosis and meditation involve altered states of consciousness, hypnosis is more focused on achieving specific goals such as overcoming fears, releasing anxiety, or breaking a bad habit. Meditation is more focused on cultivating awareness and mindfulness in everyday life.
